Tempo says, "Now I'd say I'm a fairly attractive, impish,
late middle-aged brunette with a little bit o' charm.
How's that? I'm holdin' my own, mostly. :-)"
CatNapping says, "I guess 63 is the new 50."
Both of you passed your middle years decades ago. The average life-expectancy for women is 80. Middle-aged is 40.
UPDATE: Kitten, you have Tempo dead to rights. She was born in 1945.
April 2, 1945. She is 62 years old and she is drawing Social Security benefits.

actually, the middle years begin at 40. But you're right...they end long before 60. 55, maybe?
i dunno. if you took 80 years, and divided it into 3 parts: beginning; middle; and end...
middle aged would start at 26, and end at 52...hehe, i think i'll call my daughter, RIGHT NOW, and let her know!
how does the forumla work? do you halve the whole, and then halve it again? that would start the middle years at 40, and end them right at 60. (meaning, i only have 3 years left - however will i cope?
p.s. i've seen your latest entry. i am NOT foobs. i'm certain he's a he, and his doggerel is different than mine. he's not so much into corn as i. (i go for the groan.)
